About RunCruncher

RunCruncher is a free pace calculator and training plan generator for runners. It started from a simple frustration: building a training schedule for your next race shouldn't require a spreadsheet. So this site does the math.

Crunch a pace, speed, or time over any distance, in miles or kilometers. Or pick a race date and generate a complete week-by-week training plan, ready to download as a CSV and import into Google Calendar.

The training plans are based on Hal Higdon's programs for 10K, half marathon, and full marathon distances — covering novice, intermediate, and advanced levels. If you find them useful, please consider thanking Hal by picking up one of his books.

A few principles

  • No accounts. No tracking. No ads.
  • All calculations run in your browser; no run data is stored.
  • Plans rotate to whichever day you race — Sunday, Saturday, or anywhere in between.
